Summer 2015; Leaping forward in time, I’ve kept in touch with PES and continue to accept his invitations to work. As a Director, he continually pushes the boundaries of the work he wants to be doing. These projects are always a welcome mental challenge. I know that when I get called onto a PES job, there will be plenty of puzzles to solve in order to get a result that he’s satisfied with. I always appreciate his unwillingness to settle with a result that is “not bad.”
“Paper” had a very intense research and development period built into the schedule. It was absolutely necessary in order to discover the best methods to achieve the final result. It became a clearing house of ideas he had been talking about trying for years.
